"Uncertain Time" is a unique project of Belarusian photographer and actor Maxim Korostelyov, dedicated to the shaky matter of modernity. It’s an exhibition-dialogue with famous authors and creators, a special look at contemporary art through the prism of a photographic lens.

The attempt to preserve time is paradoxical. The past and the future are like a patchwork quilt, woven from memories, images, fantasies — unreal, elusive, open to interpretation.

The author does not just mechanically record reality, but delves into the search for inherent feelings. Therefore, the heroes of the photographs — painters, sculptors, actors, musicians, playwrights — are placed in the context of their cultural environment. They interact with space, everyday details, and ordinary interiors.

The photographer addresses the living matter of modernity. Film photography becomes an artistic tool, and the heroes of the exhibition, in turn, become the key to the elusive reality in these uncertain times.
